Im completely confused as to why Bikram is on the prep All-Star team and not on Peels All Star team.

Some big names missing for Peels team. No Nick Madray, Cassidy Ryan, Ashton Stephenson and more.

Only two players from Mississauga on the roster. Brampton dominated team. I expect the same for Peels top 20.

RYERSON:

Could the name of the "York Region" team please be changed to the "York Public" team?

After all, no players or coaches in the York Catholic school system were made aware of this team, and no players were even given the opportunity to try-out.

I THINK IT WOULD BE REALLY UNFAIR TO CALL THIS A "YORK REGION" ALL-STAR TEAM. It really is just a gathering of players from four teams in the York public board.

Obviously I'm not saying this is an anti-Catholic thing - I'm just uncomfortable calling this a "York Region" all-star team when it's truly anything but.

From the perspective of a Peel coach at the tryout:

Bikram, Nick and Cass were not at the Peel tryout.

Ashton was definitely discussed as a candidate for the all-star team.

Only 2 Mississauga players? Camall and Dominic attend Ascension. Juwan attends St Joan of Arc. Daniel attends Glenforest.

Peel Top 20 game is North vs South so there may be a few more Mississauga gauys involved.

and if I really wanna be picky, Bikram, Jamal, and Brian on the prep team are all former/current Mississauga school guys (Ascension and Xavier)...

Technically Malton is considered Mississauga but ive said before I dont consider them Mississauga.

One last question. How did Denzel make this team when he didnt attend the tryout? Fletchers has 3 players in the top 40 already. If Denzel could be included couldnt Nick and Cassidy and Bikram be considered aswell since they didnt attend the try outs. Not hating on Denzels selection. He is a good solid player and has the talent to be there. but just saying.

Its not like Nick and Cassidy werent selected to try out. Bounce training camp was on the same day.

6 Vaughan players on York team is a joke, they couldn't find any other worthy players from the entire York region.

As well toronto catholic with 4 carr guys, 4 MT guys.. I would of liked to see a bit more variety among the teams

Interesting that Fletchers was able to send 4 players.

6 Vaughn Players LOL. So at some point in the game they will have their quad A Championship starting line up on the floor who played over 30+ games together against a team that is playing together for the first time.

Fletchers had 4 at the tryout but only 3 are going to play.

So they lose in Ropssaa with all their big men and good players and they get to send 4 players ,maybe fletchers will coach the team too.

Peel region is a joke everything is an excuse.

york region is a joke with 6 vaughan players and tdcaa with the carr/mt team

Fletchers had the most talented team in peel thats no suprise, you said it yourself gunta

I believe Scott Morrison, Richview was hurt pretty bad at OFSSAA.

Very easy for everyone to throw all these coaches who give up their time to make this work for the KIDS under the bus. Gunta, D'Youville had an excellent ROPSSAA final and executed their game plan to perfection but Fletchers had the most talented team. That is why three Fletchers guys where selected. Coach Zoff I am assuming as he is coaching the team was part of the process and only one of his players got selected. Hopefully your son or whoever you feel was slighted on D'Youville gets selected next year.

Every other school had a limit of 3 to send to the tryouts. It was stated on this site that from the 3 players from each school the team would be selected for Battle of the Boards. Why did Fletchers get to send 4?

Mr Logan: I do not believe you were at the tryout if you are saying Denzell Taylor was not at the tryout. Considering I conducted the warmup at the tryout and was cracking jokes on him about his University of Windsor T-shirt I would say he was there. We invited Denzell not as a candidate for the Top 40 but for the Peel Battle of the Boards team as we felt he is one of our better bigs.

I am not sure why you do not consider Malton to be in Mississauga when it is in Mississauga. Because it is close to Brampton?
