The reason Vaughan lost some of their games is because they didn't have Cy in their roster, although it wasn't a huge loss considering how deep they are. It's enough to make a dent in their scoring for about 1/3 of the game. With him they are much much stronger.

I had a opportunity to see Vaughan a few times this year and I watched them briefly last year at the Rim rocker and the Henry Carr tournament, to me the most Inproved, Surprised and Active team Awards go to them.
