This thread is actually for this year.

DeShaun may be moving up to Sr. next season. That decision is down-the-road a little.

However, there is a nice looking group of players looking at MT for the 09 season. It could be an outstanding group.

I think the 08-09 is going to be very competitive.

There were a lot of teams that were either all Gr. 9's or predominately Gr. 9 last season.

There will definitely be a lot of good teams out there this year. Basketball

^^ i believe vaughan dhould be ranked higher on that list (my opinion) and from what im hearing here in peel is that D'youville is going to have a very strong squad. by their list of players on the other thread on paper they look like a top 3 team. Eastern is looking alright but not better than vaughan, pope and D'youville.

I hear Pope has 4 Team Ontario guys on thier team this year. So from what I see on paper my top 5 would be:

    1. Pope John Paul
    2. Fr. Henry Carr A
    3. Vaughan S.S
    4. Eastern Commerce
    5. Oakwood

Any body else think something different?

    1.Pope/Carr A/D'youville
    2.Pope/Carr A/D'youville
    3.Pope/Carr A/D'youville
    4.Vaughan
    5.Eastern.

Pope,Carr A, and D'youville can all fill the top 3 in any which way. We wont be able to tell til the season actually starts.

PJP II should be strong, but I am not sold on D'youville. A lot of talk and a lot of defections. Carr A has to be in everyone's top two, depending on who you put first. Eastern has had a weak junior program the last 2 years. Who knows where to rank them really. And Eastern has lost at least 3 good grade nines in the first month of school. I wonder why that is? Vaughan and Oakwood should be top 4 in my opinion.
