I thought Campbell and Bethune were Tier II teams?

Does the winner of Campbell/Thomson play the winner of Woburn/Birchmount in the semis?

There was no Tier 2 in Scarborough. Because only five teams chose to play in Tier 1, it was decided there would only be Tier 1 with 16 teams in it. Only three teams were really Tier 1 teams, Churchill, Thomson and Birchmount. The rest of us were there to get blown out and we did.
The winner of Campbell/Thomson plays the winner of Churchill/King and the winner of Bethune / West Hill plays the winner of Woburn/ Birchmount. But let's be realistic, the only game which might be competitive is Bethune and West Hill. All the rest are foregone conclusions.
In the semis, Birchmount will blow out the winner of Bethune/ West Hill and Thomson should defeat Churchill. Thomson will defeat Birchmount in the final.

WOW.. i thought Thomson would of had the game.
anyone know any details?

Game was close for two and a half quarters until Thomson went on a run by pressing in the third. Thomson led by 11 after 3 quarters but seemed very lethargic and tired. Lisa Williams got hot and canned a couple of threes and all of a sudden Birchmount was getting second chances and all loose balls.
Birchmount fully deserved this game as they had much more energy than Thomson. Thomson has played tournaments on consecutive weekends along with our playoffs and it showed. Add on the fact that Thomson could not hit an outside shot and Birchmount did. I was a little surprised that Thomson didn' try to finish Birchmount off with the press early in the fourth quarter as it was the main reason for the 11 point lead. Again, it could be due to not enough energy. It was the first time that I have ever seen Thomson look tired. They also are missing a key component(Thelwell-Brown) but I still think that Birchmount fully deserved the victory as they stayed calm and worked hard.
