Results for 27th Annual Crusader Classic:

    Junior Tournament:
    Pool A Summary:
O'Connor goes 2-1 beating Sacred by three, losing to Fletcher's by one.
Fletcher's goes 1-1, beating O'Connor but losing to Sacred by 16.
Sacred goes 1-1 by beating Fletcher's and losing to O'Connor.
Sacred wins the pool by point differential.

    Pool B Summary:
Thomas Aquinas (Tottenham) goes 0-2, losing to both St. John's (Brantford) and Vanier (York)
St. John's goes 2-0 beating both Vanier and Aquinas by substantial amounts (over 15)
    Vanier goes 1 and 1
    St. John's wins pool B

    Playoffs:
Aquinas loses friendship game to Fletchers
Vanier beats Sacred by 13 to advance
O'Connor beats St. John's by more than 15 to advance

O'Connor wins championship by beating Vanier by 10.

Very much a tournament of attrition where previous efforts in early games tired teams out. Only O'Connor was able to string two wins in a row together when it counted.

Good games throughout. Vanier, very disciplined in their game against Sacred, committing only one foul in the game.

O'Connor is very strong with smart post play by Mike West and good guard play by John Coudagan.

Sacred played well coming from behind (11 back) to beat Fletcher's.

Hey Coach, it's time for a new Top 16 Poll ... don't see a lot changing with the top 4 teams ... Carr, Downsview, Pope and Vaughan seem to be well placed ... let's see what happens with the other 12 spots ... some movement for sure after some of the holiday/post-holiday tourneys!
