Tevoun Jackson (Pope John Paul II), Kemar Alleyne (Pope John Paul II), Jawara Pedican (Vaughan), and Michael ganson (Vaughan) were named to the all-star team.

Gavin Pearce (Pope John Paul II) was named tournament MVP.

Congratulations to the final four teams: Pope John Paul II, Vaughan, Oakwood and Holy Trinity. These are all tough, balanced teams with strength at every position. I had the pleasure of watching many of the teams that made the final 16, which confirmed for me once again that there's tremendous talent and coaching across the province.

Having grown up in the U.S. (Washington, DC area), I'd like to suggest that the quality of basketball has continued to improve in Ontario over the past two decades and the top junior teams definitely compare favourably with most of the strong Washington Metro area teams. Kudos as well to the organizers of the tournament, as the facilities and the officiating were outstanding! Wishing everyone continued success with their programs, and a great final month of the season! -Coach Joe

The Vaughan SS Family/Program would like to extend their deepest thanks to Jason Cormier, the Tucci Brothers, Gene at Campion and the entire support staff and athletic associations that made this event possible. It is still in my opinion the closest to a Junior OFSAA. Congratulations to Pope and their excellent performance at this Tournament. This is our 4th year in a row at Rimrocker - Quarters, Finalist, Finalist, Finalist have been our results. We value the experience for our student athletes off and on the court at this event and we wish it continued success for many years to come, for all who participate in it. Good luck to all the student/athletes in their exams and in their playoff run.
