The best junior team I've seen thus far this year lies outside of the GTA: it was MacNab.

I have also seen Upper Canada, Pine Ridge and my team has played two exhibition games against St. Augustine (Brampton). From what I have seen, St. Augustine was not as good as MacNab but are probably better than both Upper Canada and Pine Ridge.

I just noticed that MacNab is at the dYouville junior jam this weekend.  Also #3 dYouville, #4 Pickering, and #7 Holy Trinity are all at the tournament.  # 12 J.C. Richardson, Central Toronto Academy and Campion are also participating.  MacNab has a great chance to prove themselves against some of the top teams in the GTA this weekend.

Good picks. I agree MacNab is strong.

But, as everyone knows, being from Hamilton they do not qualify for the Super 16. Nice team and very well-coached all the same!

What happened to Macnab and JCR yesterday at the d'Youville tournament???

Nothing happened. I presume Pickering and Campion must be good teams.

Early in the season its hard to get a read on who are the best teams out there.

Also its Jr. basketball anything can happen at any time. Within reason of course.

I have heard great things about Notre Dame (Ajax) Jrs.

They return some top players and had a talented Gr. 9 team last season.

They are playing in the finals of the Austen SENIOR tournament today!
