championship games are played at sheridan college .
Not all the time....not sure about this year but year before last the game was played in the higher seeds gym. Girls and Juniors dont always get Sheridan.

It has been played at a variety of locations: Sometimes Sheridan, sometimes the higher seed's gym, and sometimes at a neutral high school gym. I have seen all three in the past 6-7 years.

Props to BCSS they are continuing to develop a great program, and props to goetz they had a lot of young gr9s on the team. These were the best two teams in the finals.

The Father Goetz Gators came up short in their quest for a Peel high school junior boys' basketball title, falling 64-57 to the Brampton Centennial Bucks last night at Sheridan College in Brampton.
A very enthusiastic and vocal crowd of several hundred cheered the Brampton side to victory.
"It feels really great to win a championship," said Bucks team captain Nicholas Campbell, who led his team with 18 points. "We worked well as a team, came out aggressive and we got the win."
The game stayed close throughout as the Bucks led 28-26 at the half. The intensity picked up in the second half and a 9-0 Gators' run helped them to establish a slim 43-41 lead after three quarters.
The back-breaker for the Gators came late in the fourth period. They were trailing 61-57 when the Bucks were able to secure a key offensive rebound on a missed free throw attempt.
"We had our opportunities and we didn't capitalize on them," said Gators head coach Norm St. Louis. "We gave them a lot of second shots but to (the Bucks) credit, they really worked for the boards."
Matthew Cataring led the Gators with 14 points while Osman Shilah scored 12.
"The majority of our team is Grade 9s so our future is pretty bright," said St. Louis. "You know with a year under their belt and a tough loss like this, it only builds character. We're going to learn from it so we can move forward next year."
