Is this a typo? bill crothers defeated holy trinity??? really?

Not a typo. It's the second time this season Crothers beat Holy Trinity

I've seen Bill Crothers in action and thought they were a pretty good team but i didn't think they would make any noise in AAAA OFSAA

Bill Crothers!!! I've been trying to tell everyone that they are a good team. They're definitely not the worst team at OFSAA AAAA. That was a mistake! However, they made the most of their opportunity and have proven some people wrong. Our Pine Ridge team played them twice this year and beat them. After, every game I kept saying that these guys are the best kept secret in the province. As mentioned earlier, this is their second Victory over Holy Trinity this year. They played a month ago about the Durham Region Invitational at Pine Ridge S.S. and Bill Crothers won that game as well 69-64. HT was up by 22 points late in the third quarter and Crothers came back for the win in that game.

Xavier... Could we also see wins/1000s of students in each region? Given that - for example - the TDSSA represents 80,000 students and that SWOSSA represents 14,000 - that makes SWOSSA's results even more impressive... really.

It means the total number of wins divided by the total number of teams. If a region has 4 teams that have won 3 games it works out to .75 per team while a region with only 2 teams but the same number of wins would have 1.33 per team. It's another way of putting the total number of wins into context.

I don't have the numbers for all regions. That also doesn't necessarily tell the whole picture as issues such as actual participation in the sport in question for each region, school boundaries, competition of schools for the same zone, and presence of club programs would also have a significant effect.
