west hill has trouble blowing teams out that they are suppose to, i don't get it. lol

I updated the schedule in the Game Recap (#34)..

4A OFSAA Backdoor Game: Monday Mar 2nd vs. Silverthorn, 2pm at West Toronto

I'm going to see my Vodoo Doctor on the weekend. We'll be putting an Obeya on Silverthorn.

We really need to spread more positivity and less of the negative! Taylor Johnston is a big part of our team, and we definitely miss him when he's not available. The team has done a great job of battling and stepping up without him, but he is a valued piece of our puzzle.

For the record, Taylor and I have a great relationship, and he is a good kid and a talented player. If you believe any player wants to miss the 3 biggest games of his career (Oakwood, Newtonbrook and Eastern) you are definitely mistaken, especially a 5th year senior...He got very sick and that is something that is out of his control...

As a Coach, and as a team we deal with the cards that we're dealt and make the best of them. I'm very proud of the way guys have stepped up down the stretch, and it really bodes well for us when we do get Taylor and Michael Knight back next week heading into the game vs. Silverthorn and heading into OFSAA!!

I don't have any beef with you guys (whatupdawg & steve.nash1), keep up the support of GTA Ball! But let's spread positivity fellas!!

Next up, Silverthorn on Monday at 2pm (West Toronto CI)....GO WARRIORS!!! (V post below is another example....)

Coach Phillipe you seem like youre doing a great job at WH. How does Adrian Tomlinson play like? like his style. He's like around 5'8 right? How is he so capable of putting up big points on the scoarboard?

Coach Philippe your doing a very good job with your talented West Hill squad ignore these guys that just give negative comments no need to argue with them your just wasting your time.. Also I think Westhill would have banged a closer game if Taylor was playing but unfortunatly he was sick.. but I would like to congradulate you now for making if to Ofssaa easy win next week against silverthorne lol..

i say that everytime "whatupdawg" makes a post or comment that
we all boycott him and never respond because he can't be taken seriously.

way too much putting down, coaches and players personally, on here already.

Although Adrian is only 5'8, he is able to put up numbers because he is quick and talented. He can easily let off shots from 3 feet behind the 3-point arc and he also has a killer crossover. I would say his game is like Allen Iverson, and he is very capable of taking over a game. But don't listen to whatupdawg; he doesn't take all the shots. I would say his only flaw is in his rebounding, due to his height (although point guards do not usually collect rebounds).

actually when i see adrian play he does collect rebounds, surprisingly.

You shouldnt compare NBA players to highschool players.. and tb11 you just worded your statement wrong.. highschool point guards .. because in the NCAA and NBA point guards do collect rebounds but usually just defensive rebounds when the big men box out and they come in and pick it up ...

I wonder if Adrian T. will ever make it to D1 because of the juco route he is taking. I hope he does make it to D1 since he is one of the best in toronto but i also hope he does not get lost in the mix

The whole of the US doesnt hve to like him. One coach or scout just has to he will gain his rep and likability by showing wat he can do on the court in the NCAA. It was just liek Andrew Nicholson the US didnt know who he was but the St.Bonaventure head coach liked him and now he is doin amazing and will probably win A-10 (his conference) rookie of the week.
